How to grow
Microgreens at Home?

You don't need to be a Rockstar Farmer

all it takes a little 1, 2, 3!

STEP 1:
SOAKING

KEEP THE COCOPEAT DISCS IN A BOWL & POUR LITTLE WATER UNTIL DISCS STOP ABSORBING WATER. EVENTUALLY IT WILL GROW THRICE OF ITS SIZE. IF THERE IS EXCESS WATER JUST TAKE IT OUT.

STEP 2:
ADDING PLANT FOOD

ADD THE VASUDHA VERMICOMPOST AS A PLANT FOOD WHICH WILL BOOST THE GROWTH AND KEEP THE MICROGREENS FRESH FOR LONGER TIME. MIX THE COCOPEAT AND VASUDHA VERMICOMPOST THROUGHLY.

STEP 3:
FILL THE GROW TRAY

FILL THE GROW TRAY WITH THE MIX PREPARED. KEEP HANDFUL OF MATERIAL FOR LATER TO COVER THE SEEDS. MAKE SURE YOU GENTLY TAP TO LEVEL THE MIX. DO NOT PACK THE MIX TOO TIGHT.

STEP 4:
ADDING SEEDS

SPREAD THE SEEDS EVENLY TO AVOID CLUMPS. COVER IT WITH THE MIX THAT WE KEPT ASIDE. (COVER HEIGHT SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN THE DIAMETER OF THE SEED OR IN GENERAL 5mm IS ENOUGH) LEVEL THE COVERED MIX GENTLY FOR EVEN SPROUTING.

STEP 5:
WATERING

POST SEEDING AND COVERING WITH THE MIX, GIVE A GOOD MIST TO MAKE THE SEEDS AND THE MIX MEDIUM WET BUT TRY NOT TO OVERSOAK. PLACE YOUR TRAY IN DARK OR COVER IT WITH CARDBOARD & LEAVE IT TO GERMINATE FOR 3 TO 5 DAYS, IN THIS TIME YOU CAN WATER TWICE A DAY.

STEP 6:
DEVOURING THE DELICACY

ONCE YELLOW LEAVES ARE OUT, KEEP THE GROW TRAY IN INDIRECT SUNLIGHT.  KEEP WATERING TWICE A DAY. (FOR BOTTOM WATERING YOU CAN KEEP THE TRAY IN A PLATE HAVING 5MM WATER LEVEL, MIX WILL ABSORB THE WATER EASILY) HARVEST AND ADD TO YOUR SALAD ONCE THE LEAVES START POPPING OUT (IN 8 TO 12 DAYS)
